Christmas may be cancelled in the Holy Land this year, but the spirit of hope remains.
Bethlehem University has faced many challenges in the past fifty years, not unlike what we are facing now. Throughout all of the destruction and violence, Bethlehem University continues to provide the best education, for as we know, education is the future.
The economic impact of the current situation for both Muslims and Christians is devastating. Work opportunities have diminished, travel within the West Bank is impossible, and the tourism industry is at a standstill. Many families have already called Bethlehem University to say they cannot continue to pay tuition. And without this tuition revenue, Bethlehem University cannot serve the needs of our students.
Please consider supporting Bethlehem University this Christmas season. By making a meaningful gift, your support serves as a sign of hope to young Palestinian men and women. They are waiting in hope and expectation for the light to break through this Christmas.
